I've been a fan of the Aero Bird design since we got our first 83 Thunderbird in the fall of 1982. I worked at the local Ford dealership in Dayton Ohio as parts manager. They brought the new Tbird onto the showroom floor and my first thought was 'look out NASCAR'. Bill Elliot later proved that to be the case.

A few weeks later I was due to get a new demo to drive. I was thrilled to learn that (thanks to a special rebate program that Ford had going on) I was to pick out a Thunderbird within a certain serial number range. There was only one that qualified. It was a bright red Turbo Coupe. The first one to hit the streets of Dayton and the only one I've ever seen that came without AC.

These days I have a silver 84 that I bought about ten years ago. I love these cars as much today as I did back then. My wife loves the bird also as it brings back memories of driving that bright red Turbo Coupe on our honeymoon.

To do my part toward the preservation of these fine cars I have been in the process of reproducing many of the decals that are no longer available from Ford. Following is a list of available decals so far. If the decal you need is not on the list please contact me and together we'll try to make it available for all.

You will notice that we also sell the authorized NATO decals on this site. We hope to expand the listing of these decals also. If you need a special size that is not listed contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
